Boodihal Cardiac and Diabetes Hospital/ ICU was established with the aim of providing medical care facilities to Gokak taluk and surrounding rural areas.
It is well equipped 30 bedded hospital, provides all the basic to advanced services especially cardiac and diabetic patients.
Boodihal Cardiac and Diabetes Hospital/ ICU have highly qualified, experienced doctors, and dedicated paramedical, nursing staff. Which are committed to deliver professional services and outstanding hospitality. “To provide quality health care at an affordable cost” is the main motto of this hospital. Our team continued to provide services even during tough, challenging times like covid-19 first wave in 2020 and second wave 2021. It further strengthened our will power to serve.

Dr. Shivanand B Boodihal
MBBS, MD Gen Med (Manipal U), MRCP (UK).
Consultant Physician, Cardiac & Diabetes Specialist.
He is consultant Physician his special interest is Diabetes and Cardiology, also capable of treating almost all medical specialities. He completed his MBBS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli in 1998, then completed MD General Medicine from Kasturaba Medical College Mangalore, Manipal University in 2002, Did MRCP (Member of Royal College of Physicians U.K) in 20101.
He worked in various super speciality hospitals in Mangalore and various parts of Kerala as a consultant. In 2010 He started Boodihal Cardiac and Diabetes Hospital/ ICU in Gokak near Court Circle. In 2015 shifted to own setup near byali kata, Gokak.
He gave several oral and poster presentation in the state and national conferences.
Dr. Rashmi Boodihal
MBBS, DA, DNB.
CMO, Consultant Anaesthetist / Intensivist
She is consultant anaesthetist and Intensivist. She is competent to handle almost all medical emergencies and in charge of ICU. She is backbone of the hospital.
She completed her MBBS from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli in 2002, and did DA from Mysore Medical College from Mysore, DNB in anaesthesiology from Pariyaram Medical College, Kannur in Kerala. Later she has rendered service as Lecturer in Pariyaram Medical College.
Since 2010 she along with her husband Dr.Shivanand Boodihal working/managing the hospital.
She gave several oral and poster presentation in the state and national conferences.
